The organisation is licensed by the Government (BERR) to administer the up-skilling, registration and promotion of a professional digital installer workforce for the public.

Sky Image The RDI-LB is responsible for maintaining a register of licensees and promoting them to public or commercial interests. In addition they help installers with access to training and through the licensing process into the scheme. They also manage policing of the scheme against abuse by rogue traders.
